Success through innovation
T&A Schweiß- und Schneidtechnik GmbH was founded in 1992 by two managing partners, Frank Adolph and Dr.-Ing. Kurt O. Trarbach.
1993
we were the first company in Germany and in Europe to introduce partially mechanized welding process with a self-shielded flux cored wire for all types of rails, frogs, switches and crossings. Today the FCAW-ss process has become a standard method for electrical arc welding by joining and hard-facing of rails.
1994
we introduced our newly developed self propelled submerged arc welding tractor for hard-facing and build-up of rails, particularly for grooved rails.
2013
we launched the first data logger for recording of welding parameters during submerged arc welding.
